Red & White tomorrow in support of 'I Read Canadian Day'!<p><span class="ms-rteFontFace-5">​</span><span class="ms-rteFontFace-5" style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;background-color:#ffffff;">I READ CANADIAN DAY is a national day of celebration of Canadian books for young people. <span style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;background-color:#ffffff;">The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of Canadian books and celebrate the richness, diversity and breadth of Canadian literature. <span style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;background-color:#ffffff;">We challenge our students to “Read Canadian” for 15 minutes and to share their experience at their library, in their school, with their families and friends, or on social media.  Young people are encouraged to read, or be read to, a Canadian book of their choice.</span></span></span><br></p>

Parent/guardian survey regarding Before and After School Programs survey regarding Before and After School Programs<p>Before and After School Programs for children in Kindergarten to Grade 6 are provided by independent, third-party child care operators in SCDSB schools. Each year, child care providers assess demand, viability and projected enrollment in order to determine need for before and after school child care programs.<br><br>Parents/guardians of children who will be registered in Kindergarten to Grade 6 beginning in September 2021 are asked to take a moment to complete a short questionnaire. Responses will be provided to child care operators and the County of Simcoe to assist with their needs assessment. <strong>Please note that this survey will be available until February 12, 2021</strong>.<br><br>Complete the survey: <a href=""> </a><br></p>
